Godflesh – (Trocadero) Philadelphia,Pa 7.22.92

I was at this show!

Godflesh were supposed to open for Skinny Puppy a few weeks earlier but were held up at the border.(weed) A band named Thought Industry opened for them instead and were absolutely massacred by the fans for the crime of not being Skinny Puppy or Godflesh. (I need to post them sometime to make up for it) .

They ended up coming a couple weeks later I actually met Justin outside the show. He was one of the first musicians who I looked up to that I ever met. So I think I ended up creeping him out a bit.

I told him this story at the Jesu merch table at the First Unitarian Church over a decade later and I think I creeped him out again.
